This photo was taken on March 10th, 2009.

The weather lately, has been been unusually mild and then becoming cold at night. This was shortly after a good snowfall, but the milder temperatures during the day had helped to melt it, thus making for a beautiful foggy day. This was taken, just as the sun was leaving for the day, so you'll notice that there's a bit of light still in the sky. Later, it became crystal clear, and gusted all night long as high as 44mph. Gotta love the weather.. and it's sudden mood swings. I chose the title, because the lights do appear like brights spirits, lurking amongst the foggy darkness.

Love the hues of blue and pink and the hazy effect. Kind of eerie, like war of the worlds..is the last light in the background really a lamp light or is it something else? Ooooo... An excellent emotive shot.

Thank you very much. They're all park lamps. The lightened top-left corner is what was left of the day's light. So.. do you think I'm making my images too scary??? I think I need to take a picture of a flower. ;)

If that's your schtick stay with it.You do scary well. You're good at it..my forte is churches, funny i'm not particularly religious although I have a reverence for religions.

Oh, I hear ya. I love to take wide angle shots of churches, with the clouds mixing just right with the blue skies. I'd love to go to Europe, and shoot as many castles and cathedrals as humanly possible.
:iconfunygirl38:
Oh yes indeed, I want to go to Montreal to the cathedral there. Amazing what people will do for their faith..the architecture blows me away...if only I had the time to travel with my camera...well the time and the freedom..with kids it's a bit hard, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have it any other way, but just to go with no strings..

speaking of kiddies..well not exactly kiddies but relationships...how are you and your girl doing? Well I hope.

We're doing great, thanks. We just moved into an apartment of our own, and it really helps things. She's now a block away from her work.. I mean it's nearly in the backyard, and until my job moves to downtown, it's nearly just across the street. So.. that's probably why I haven't been on here all that much. :) Sorry about that. How are things on your end?
